Over all we have liked our Zambelli MULImax apple grinder. I pulverizes apples in an impressive and satisfying manner. The only problem we have had is with the blades. Because the blades are made from a soft food grade steel we have had problems with the top blade bending and breaking. I brought this problem up with my metal smith friend Paul Weller and he came up the perfect solution of adding braces to the blade. So a big thank you to Paul for saving the day! Check out his amazing handmade teapots.

Hey Alan! We thought this post might be helpful to others with the same grinder. It’s good to sharpen your blades regularly as well. Our first blade was slowly bending flat, so we bent them back up—-it broke off shortly after! Dangerous! The brace works great.
